Adobe Experience Manager Practice: Java, UI, and Full-Stack

A Big Four professional services firm engaged Taller to supply a sustained AEM engineering practice for its client-delivery function.

The firm’s client-facing digital work ran on Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), a major enterprise platform for building and managing websites and digital content. The engineering skills AEM demanded were hard to substitute from general Java or frontend talent, spanning backend component development, the platform’s authoring and templating layers, and content operations. Few teams held all three competencies at once, and the ones that did became the natural home for AEM modernization across a consulting firm’s portfolio.

Taller built a sustained AEM practice at the firm of roughly fifty engineers, spanning Java backend, UI, and full-stack work. The Java engineers handled the platform’s component and repository layers; the UI engineers built against its authoring and content-delivery experience; and the full-stack roles bridged the two on engagements that crossed both content operations and component engineering. The practice ran through multiple AEM platform releases, including the move to AEM’s cloud service, without losing operational continuity.
